• Go to Teach in Alabama and complete an online application. Please be sure to attach the following documents to the application: valid Alabama Teaching Certificate, college transcript(s), verification of highly qualified status and current resume.

    • Once your online application is completed, including all of the required attachments, you may apply for any job opening by selecting “Jobs” from Teach in Alabama and selecting the Anniston City Schools position(s) for which you are going to apply.

    • Selected applicants will be contacted by the Principal/Administrator to schedule an interview

    • If selected for employment, you will receive a letter notifying you of the date to complete the employment process. Please return the Anniston City Schools website to “Employment Forms”. Please complete all required forms and bring them to the Board of Education on this date.


    • All employees of Alabama State Department of Education are required to complete a fingerprint and background clearance. Anniston City Schools has the right to refuse employment based on the findings of the background review.
