Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year at Anniston City Schools. Though we are following recommended safe guidelines, social distancing, and online learning, we are still forging ahead with teaching and learning to prepare our young people for success in life.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) is an integral part of leading our young people to be college AND career ready. As such, The Anniston City Schools CTE Department will provide our students with real world applicability of knowledge gained. Students will work to problem solve, develop leadership skills, earn college credit, and master the skills required for a successful career. Also, students at Anniston Middle and Anniston High will earn industry recognized credentials.
The faculty and staff of Anniston City Schools CTE are committed to a multifaceted approach in a supportive environment to help students reach their potential. We will use a combination of classroom instruction, lab exercises, Career Technical Student Organizations, and local community support to have students prepared for success following high school.
I am excited to be a part of the Bulldog Family. I am eager to work with faculty, staff, students, families, and the community as we move Anniston City Schools forward.
