Mr. Chris Sullivan

Welcome to Mr. Sullivan's page! My name is Chris Sullivan and I am the 10th Grade United States History teacher at Anniston High School. Prior to working with sophomores, I taught freshmen World History and senior Government/Economics and AP Government. Working with sophomores gives me a chance to add more responsibilities and added disciplines than the students received as freshmen. It is all about encouraging the students to take ownership of their education so that they will be prepared and able to compete for jobs in the workforce. I also teach Sociology, which is a multi-grade level class that will emphasize societal behaviors and human interaction. This course will allow the students to open their minds to be able to view and respect other people groups differently than they previously would have. I live in Gadsden, where I was born and raised. I am a 1991 graduate of Hokes Bluff High School. My Bachelor's Degree is in Secondary Education/Social Science from Jacksonville State University. My Master's Degree is in Curriculum and Education with a concentration in Social Science from Faulkner University. I am married with four children. Some of my hobbies include travelling, reading, listening to music, and working in the yard. Please feel free to contact me at any time to discuss your child's progress in my class. It is great to be a Bulldog!
