AdvancED is dedicated to advancing excellence worldwide. The North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC), and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School IMprovement (SACS CASI) are accreditation divisions of AdvancED.
Accreditation is a voluntary method or quality assurance developed more than 100 years ago by american universities and secondary schools, and designed primarily to distinguish schools adhering to a set of educational standards.
Anniston City Schools is a fully accredited district.
